Mechanical Sewerage Technician | Twente environment

As a Mechanical Sewerage Engineer at Twente Milieu, you ensure that the red light on the pressure sewer unit is not lit. Every day you maintain the mini pumping stations in Borne, Haaksbergen or Hof van Twente, which ensures that the transport of waste water to the sewage treatment plants runs smoothly. Will you be the new addition to Twente Milieu?

What is expected of you

As part of the team at Twente Milieu, you are responsible for the annual maintenance of thousands of pumping stations in the Twente working area. Your tasks vary from cleaning pumping stations and adjusting pumps to solving malfunctions. Using advanced management programs, you can accurately document all maintenance work and assessments. You work together with various teams within Sewer Services and participate in the breakdown service outside regular working hours. Your efforts ensure a smoothly functioning sewer system and a cleaner environment for all of us.

What are we looking for

You are of course motivated to get started, and you are also zassertive and enterprising. You can also easily switch if work suddenly has to be done in a different location. In addition you have:

At least a completed MBO-2 education and work and thinking level;
BRL mechanic training diploma;
Training Knowledge of pumps completed;
Possession of a valid certificate VCA/OHSAS 18001 / NEN 3140;
Completed the Working in Confined Spaces training;
Driving license C1.

Are you a technician working in technology, where you tinker with mechanics and electronics, but do you have no experience with sewer systems yet? We would also like to discuss the possibilities for a work-study program with you.
