What is expected of you

You are at the start of your new career and we will teach you everything to become a fully-fledged Food Operator! Over a period of 2 years you will work at various companies spread across Twente, where you will learn to work with different food products and challenges. You work 4 days a week. On the 5th day you have a teaching day where you learn everything about, for example, food hygiene and various (innovation) processes. During your teaching day you will also have time to complete your work assignments.

You will of course not be left to your own devices. You will receive a mentor from school, the company where you will work and 4 Minutes. They will guide you and help you where necessary. For example, are you unable to complete an assignment or do you need additional explanation on certain topics? Then sound the alarm to one of your mentors.

Each school year ends with an oral test and at the end of your training you have a practical test. During your training you will also have an exam for Dutch and Arithmetic. Have you passed all the tests and practical tests? Then you have your diploma in your pocket!

What are we looking for

Perhaps you already work as a production employee or have you not yet gained any experience in the food industry? It does not matter! The most important thing is that you are eager to learn and interested in becoming the next Food Operator. In addition, it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written. The training and exams are entirely in Dutch.
