For a leading company in the steel industry in Almelo, we are looking for logistics employees who value structure, safety, and accurate work. In this warehouse everything revolves around a well-organized logistics process — and you play an important role in making that happen.
Wat wordt er van je verwacht
As a Logistics Employee, you ensure that the logistics processes continue to run smoothly. You work in a well-organized warehouse where products are collected, moved, and prepared for shipment on a daily basis. Accuracy is more important than speed here.You will frequently work with an EPT and focus on order picking and processing orders. As an all-round logistics employee, you will also handle various other warehouse tasks. Your responsibilities include:
· Order picking using an EPT;
· Checking orders and preparing them for shipment;
· Loading and unloading trucks;
· Scanning goods and processing orders in the system;
· Storing products neatly and safely in the warehouse;
· Repacking and preparing products for transport;
· Checking goods and quantities;
· Keeping the workplace clean and organized;
· Operating a forklift or reach truck (preferred).
You will work in a two-shift schedule:
· 06:00 – 14:30
· 14:30 – 23:00
During your first week you will start in the day shift for proper onboarding and guidance, but you will receive shift allowance from the start.
Wat zoeken wij
We are looking for people who work calmly, accurately and safely. In this warehouse, quality is more important than speed. You are:· Experienced with EPT and order picking;
· In possession of a forklift and/or reach truck certificate (preferred);
· Dutch or English speaking;
· Accurate, reliable, and motivated;
· Male or female — everyone is welcome;
· Available full-time.
Don’t have certificates yet but do have logistics experience or recently finished a (logistics) education? We also encourage you to apply. Motivation and willingness to learn are more important than experience 💪
Wat bieden wij
- A gross hourly wage starting from €16.70 per hour (depending on experience);- ATV allowance of 5% on your gross hourly wage (= €17.54 per hour);
- 14% shift allowance;
- Full-time work at a leading company in the steel industry in Almelo;
- Good guidance and onboarding when you start;
- Opportunity for a permanent contract with good performance;
- No own transport? You can use 4 Minutes transportation.
