What do we expect from you
As an Operator B, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining one of the production processes within the factory, such as mixing, filling, or packaging. You will work with modern semi-automated systems and closely monitor the performance and quality of the production process.Your duties will include:
- Operating, setting up, and changing over production lines;
- Monitoring process conditions such as temperature, viscosity, and filling accuracy;
- Detecting and resolving first-line mechanical and basic electrical malfunctions;
- Performing quality inspections and line checks in accordance with HACCP standards;
- Recording production results and technical issues;
- Guiding production line staff and coordinating with the technical and quality departments.
What are we looking for
For this Operator B position in Enschede, we are seeking a proactive and technically minded candidate who enjoys working in a quality-driven production environment and taking responsibility.We are looking for someone with:
- Experience as an Operator in the food industry or another process-based manufacturing environment;
- MBO-level education or equivalent experience, preferably in process technology or with a VAPRO certification;
- Mechanical and basic electrical technical knowledge;
- Experience with troubleshooting, production line changeovers, and process monitoring;
- Knowledge of HACCP regulations and hygiene standards;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead colleagues on the production line;
- Flexibility to work in a 2-shift or 3-shift schedule;
- Good command of Dutch and/or English.
