What do we expect from you
As an Operator at Zwanenberg, you are the backbone of your department. You are responsible for your own production line and work together with your colleagues to meet production goals safely and hygienically.Your main responsibilities include:
- Operating and changeovers: You set up advanced production machinery correctly and convert them during product changes.
- Quality control: You continuously monitor the product and the process — because in the food industry, quality always comes first.
- First-line troubleshooting: You identify and resolve minor mechanical or electronic malfunctions yourself. For bigger challenges, you coordinate quickly with the Technical Department.
- Process optimization: You keep a close eye on the schedule and actively think along about how processes can be made even more efficient, faster, or safer.
What are we looking for
Experience and the right attitude matter more than a pile of diplomas here. You recognize yourself in the following profile:- You think and work at least at a MBO-2 level (e.g., in a technical or food-related direction).
- Experience as a machine operator, line operator, or process operator in the food/process industry is a major plus.
- You speak and write English and/or Dutch fluently.
- You are hands-on, proactive, and like to roll up your sleeves.
- You are available full-time and prefer working in a steady 2-shift rota.

Hard work is well rewarded at Zwanenberg with excellent conditions from day one:- Generous salary: Between €2,850 and €3,306 gross per 4 weeks. This is based on a 36-hour work week and includes a 14% shift allowance.
