For a leading steel company in Almelo, we are looking for forklift and reach truck drivers who value structure, safety, and precise work in an all-round logistics role. Everything here revolves around quality and a well-organized logistics process — and you will play an important role in that.
Wat wordt er van je verwacht
As a Forklift / Reach Truck Driver, you ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly. You will work in a well-organized warehouse where products are moved daily. Accuracy is more important than speed in this environment. As an all-round logistics employee, you will handle various warehouse tasks, including:· Moving goods using a forklift and/or reach truck;
· Operating an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck);
· Order picking and preparing orders for shipment;
· Storing products safely and neatly in warehouse racks;
· Loading and unloading trucks;
· Scanning goods and processing orders in the system;
· Repacking products and preparing them for transport;
· Checking goods and quantities;
· Keeping the workplace clean and organized.
You will work in a 2-shift schedule:
· 06:00 – 14:30
· 14:30 – 23:00
You will start your first week in the day shift to receive proper guidance, but you will already receive the shift allowance.
Wat zoeken wij
We are looking for people who work calmly, accurately, and safely. In this warehouse, quality is more important than speed. You are:· In possession of a forklift certificate and reach truck certificate (EPT experience is a plus)
· Able to speak Dutch or English
· Accurate, reliable, and motivated
· Male or female — everyone is welcome
· Available full-time
Experience and having forklift, reach truck, and EPT certificates is a plus. However, if you have recently completed a (logistics) education and want to start your career in logistics, we also encourage you to apply.
Even if you do not yet have forklift or reach truck certificates, you are welcome to respond. Motivation and willingness to learn are more important than experience 💪
Wat bieden wij
· A gross hourly wage starting from €16.70 per hour (depending on experience);· ATV allowance of 5% on your gross hourly wage (= €17.54 per hour);
· 14% shift allowance;
· Full-time work at a leading steel company in Almelo;
· Good guidance and support during your onboarding;
· Opportunity for a permanent contract with good performance;
